We conducted a mixing comparison test using plate-type (2800 series) and screw-type (Kenics type) MSE static mixers.

The Saeki-Kaide Laboratory of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Technology at Yamaguchi University conducted stirring experiments with various static mixers. Targets: - JMS Corporation's plate-type 2800 plate mixer - Kenix-type static mixer (screw type) - MSE static mixer (grid type) As a result, it was confirmed that the JMS Corporation's plate-type 2800 mixer has stirring performance and pressure loss equivalent to that of the Kenix type. The plate mixer can stir with just one plate, making its structure simple and cost-effective. Maintenance tasks such as cleaning are also easy, allowing for minimal investment and running costs.
